  • Must be 18 or older to purchase and be eligible to win
  • Minors may be listed on a ticket as the beneficiary if ticket is purchased by an adult
  • Tickets are limited to 20 per individual
  • At least 1000 Tickets must be sold for 1st prize of the 2026 Phoenix Zxl bass boat to be given away. If 1000 tickets are not sold the raffle will revert to a 50/50 cash prize raffle including all funds from gross ticket sales.
  • If greater than 1000 tickets are sold, the drawn winner of the boat will be able to opt for a cash out alternative prize in the amount of $50,000 instead of the boat. This is still first prize and does not mean the boat will then be raffled to another ticket buyer if the cash option is taken by the first prize winner.

Tax Requirements

  • First place winner of the boat, cash option, or 50/50 will be responsible for the taxes associated with the winnings.
  • For the cash out prize, NWAI will withhold the taxes from the $50,000 winnings and remit the tax amount along with proper forms to the state and federal agencies. It is the responsibility of the individual winner to report the winnings on any of the required tax forms for their personal taxes
  • The grand prize winner is strictly responsible for all applicable local, state, and federal taxes, title, and registration fees. Per IRS regulations for non-cash raffle prizes exceeding $5,000, the winner must provide a valid Social Security Number and remit a federal withholding tax payment equal to 24% of the prize’s fair market value to the New Wave Angler Initiative before the prize can be legally transferred or released.
