Because the costs to provide this type of program keeps many kids from accessing the opportunities in fishing we need your help in funding our mission and giving more young people this opportunity. When you give to us you give through us and help youth get started in the sport when they can not afford to do so on their own.

New Wave Angler Initiative’s mission is to provide youth in Southeast Michigan the opportunity to achieve success in fishing, compete for collegiate fishing scholarships, and learn skills that can lead to careers in the industry. NWAI is dedicated to providing the best on the water and off the water programs tailored to develop better anglers, students, and people.

The price to participate in youth fishing shouldn’t be a barrier for those who wish to participate.
We provide a way for novice anglers to affordably participate with coaches and mentors who set them up for success in the sport & life.
