NWAI US-23 Team
The US-23 Team is for those anglers ready to start competing in tournament events but not quite ready for the top level and travel. Once you have a solid fishing foundation from our Summer sessions you will be ready to compete in the M-59/US-23 High School Tournament League. This league’s events are weekday evenings for 3 hours. Tournaments are located in Oakland County on lakes such as White Lake & Oakland Lake. There are usually 9-10 events throughout the Summer.
The competition can be tough in this league as many high school anglers participate from all around southeast Michigan. It is the perfect league to develop tournament decision making skills and can prepare you for making a run at the Elite Level program.
We recommend this to anyone looking to start getting involved in tournaments or anyone not quite ready to take on the level of dedication and investment necessary to do the MBNY Team Trail and national events.
Just like our Elite program you will have access to our tournament ready equipment and boats. An NWAI coach will captain and fish alongside you giving you in depth knowledge of scenarios and how to make good on the water decisions in tournaments.
In addition this program will include 4 on-the-water sessions to work on development outside of a tournament scenario. These 3 hour sessions can be dedicated to specific weaknesses you might have as a developing angler.
This program also has limited availability so be sure to inquire for a spot to secure a coach.
