Value

Maybe you don’t have access to tournament ready equipment or even if you do, maybe you’re looking for an edge and for someone to learn from like us at NWAI. Not only will this allow you to get on the water but will allow you to compete with high quality, tournament ready equipment. NWAI captains have extensive knowledge of many lakes and conditions around the country that will allow you to compete with hometown anglers and keep you in contention. The learning curve against hometown competition is often too much for an out-of-state team to compete. NWAI coaching can help close this gap. For instance, in 2015 Caleb captained for an Indiana team at the Junior World Championship on Pickwick Lake, a lake he has fished many times\, Caleb’s anglers were able to win the Indiana division as well as finish top 25 overall even after having motor troubles. This past knowledge allowed me to show our anglers how to approach practice and develop a game plan that had a better chance of working on tournament day. Our goal is not to guide the anglers to fish but to shorten their learning curve on how to approach these new and massive bodies of water through efficient practice techniques and pre-tournament study. Great coaches make a difference in every sport and it is no different in fishing. See our program results and testimonials page for first hand experiences on how important this can be.

The rest of the value comes from not having to invest in your own equipment! Let us use our equipment providing you with a high quality bass rig and all the equipment necessary to compete on a high level. It will also allow you to find out if fishing competitively is something you want to pursue before dropping large amounts of money into the initial start-up cost.
